Winter 2015-16 Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll

(Carlisle, Pa.) – Dickinson placed 27 student-athletes on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the 2015-16 winter season. Men's track & field led the way with eight athletes recognized while men's swimming garnered six selections.

The Red Devils had a very successful winter with both the men’s and women’s basketball teams advancing to the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs. The men’s and women’s swim teams combined to break a remarkable 18 schools records, setting a conference and pool record as well.

Junior Amanda Jimcosky (Benton, Pa./Northwest Area) has one of the top GPA's this winter and captured her third straight gold medal in the high jump at the Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.

To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have cumulative grade-point-average of 3.40 or better. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must also be a sophomore or higher in class standing.

Striving to achieve a strong balance between academics and athletics, Dickinson student-athletes have excelled in both areas on an extremely high level. In addition, they are actively involved in numerous clubs and activities on campus, engaged in the community through various programs and service opportunities.
