(Hershey, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team placed fifth at the Elizabethtown College Spring Invitational at the Hershey Country Club East Course on Monday afternoon. The Red Devils combined for a score of 318, finishing just two strokes behind Lebanon Valley and three strokes out of third.
First-year Charlie Zane (Guilford, Conn./Hopkins School) had another great round, carding a 78 on the day to finish in the top 10. Bobby McFadden (Perkasie, Pa./Christopher Dock) was one stroke back with a 79.
Ryan Kowash (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) and Stephen Bonacci (McLean, Va./Langley) came in with scores of 80 and 81, respectively, while Stephen Hoefer (Dallas, Texas/Cistercian Prep) finished with a 92.
Stevenson University claimed the team title with a score of 304 while Cabrini's Joseph Myers captured medalist honors with a 73.
The Red Devils return to action on Sunday and Monday at the Messiah College Spring Invitational.
