(Hershey, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team finished seventh in the 18-team field at the Elizabethtown College Fall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the Hershey Country Club East Course.
First-year William McCann (Madison, N.J./Morristown-Beard) led the pack for the Red Devils, coming in with a 75 to finish just outside the top 10, tied for 11th in the individual standings.
Sophomore Tyler Caballero (Lutherville, Md./St. Paul's School) and first-year Justin Shim (Herndon, Va./Paul VI Catholic) both carded rounds of 78. Schuyler Leff (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) and Francis Randazzo (Summit, N.J./Morristown-Beard) turned in scores of 83 and 85 on the day.
Gettysburg edged McDaniel 292-294 to claim the team title, behind medalist honors from Dane Sethre-Hofstad. Sethre-Hofstad shot a 68 to hold off Andrew Cornish (P.S.-Berks) and Daniel Murphy (Cabrini), who each came in two-under with 69's.
The Red Devils return to action on Monday, October 1st, heading to the Muhlenberg Invitational at the Lehigh Country Club.
