Men's Golf Claims Fifth at Gettysburg Invite

(Abbottstown, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team tied for fifth at the 14-team Gettysburg Fall Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at the Hanover Country Club.

The Red Devils combined for a 319 on the day, tying Cabrini in the number five spot. Gettysburg held off Lebanon Valley 308-316 while McDaniel and Eastern both had scores of 318.

The Red Devils had four first-years on the roster as Drew Stern (Yardley, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) led the way with a 77, tying for fifth in the individual standings.

Chan Park (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Old Tappan) and Francis Randazzo (Summit, N.J./Morristown-Beard) carded rounds of 79 and 80, respectively, while Justin Shim (Herndon, Va./Paul VI Catholic) came in with an 83. Senior Stephen Bonacci (McLean, Va./Langley) tallied an 87 on the day.

The Red Devils travel to the McDaniel Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at the Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Pa.
