Coach Hartman joined the Red Devil men’s soccer staff in 2006 and has played a significant role in the development and success of the program at Dickinson. He has been involved in all aspects of the program and has been actively involved in the recruiting process.
Hartman eclipsed the century mark with his 100th win to start the 2014 season. During his first seven seasons, Dickinson had an overall record of 99-38-20. The Red Devils have advanced to the Centennial Conference playoffs eight times in the past nine seasons, winning the program’s first title in 2011. They earned a spot in the championship game in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. The team has made the NCAA Tournament seven times during Hartman’s tenure, earning the right to host in 2012 and 2013.
Hartman has numerous licenses and certifications from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, U.S. Soccer and the United States Soccer Federation. He is a Certified Personal Trainer and currently works as the Assistant Training Director at Gold’s Gym, in Carlisle. In addition, he has a very strong background and extensive coaching experience at a number of camps and with a variety of youth and club soccer programs.
A 1999 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Hartman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and was a member of the men’s soccer team all four years, serving as a team captain as a senior.
