Men's Squash Goes 1-1 at CC Round Robin

(Lancaster, Pa.) – The #25-ranked Dickinson went 1-1 at the Centennial Conference Round Robin on Saturday at #15-Franklin & Marshall. The Red Devils rolled to an 8-1 win over Haverford College before suffering an 8-1 setback to the Diplomats.

The Red Devils rolled past Haverford in straight sets in all but the top flight. Adil Tibrawalla (Kolkata, India/La Martiniere School) turned in a dominant peformance in the ninth flight (11-2, 11-3, 11-1).

Hal Holappa (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) moved in the second flight for a (12-10, 11-8, 11-8) victory while Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) and Zachary Hollander (Albany, N.Y./Millbrook) added big wins in the seventh and eighth flights.

Alex Wattles (Millbrook, N.Y./Millbrook) earned the lone point against F&M, taking the top flight (11-8, 12-10, 2-11, 11-4).

Andrew Strudwick (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest Academy) battled in the three-spot but fell (11-6, 10-12, 11-4, 11-6.

The Red Devils move to 4-12 on the season. They will next compete at the College Squash Association Team Championships on February 15-18 at Yale University in New Haven, Conn.
