Red Devils Claim Fourth at CC T&F Championships

(Collegeville, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's track & field team placed fourth at the 2018 Centennial Conference Outdoor Championships at Ursinus College. Johns Hopkins won the team title with 217 points with Haverford second with 140 and Swarthmore coming in third with 105. The Red Devils combined for 86 points on the weekend.

Senior Devin Glasson (Canton, Conn./Canton) added another silver medal, throwing the shot put 15.22 meters on Sunday.

First-year Garrett Randall (Gwynn Oak, Md./Loyola-Blakefield) was sixth in the 100 meter dash and seventh in the 200, posting times of 11.25 and 23.58.

Thomas Riordan (Campbell, S.C./Landrum) was fifth in the in the 400 meters with a mark of 50.86 while Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) ran to fifth in the 800 with a time of 1:56.57.

Herrmann crossed the line second in the 1500 meters with classmate Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./JP McCaskey) placing sixth in the 5000. Herrmann joined Riordan and seniors Billy Dougherty (Mt. Lebanon, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) and Miles Lindsey (Herndon, Va./Oakton) for seventh in the 4x400 relay.

Chris Harrison (Easton, Md./Easton) scored with a seventh place finish in the 110 meter hurdles.

The Red Devils travel to the Swarthmore Final Qualifier on Monday, May 14.
