(La Crosse, Wisc.) – Dickinson sophomore Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) ran to a top 20 finish at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Descavish placed 17th overall in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:31.42. Descavish turned in an outstanding performance at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier, posting a career-best time of 14:30.46 to move up to 15th on the national qualifying list. His time held, earning him a spot at the championships this weekend.
Descavish received All-Region recognition in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. He placed fourth in the 10K at the Centennial Conference Championships and captured a conference title with the 4x800 relay.
