(Haverford, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's cross country team finished third at the 2016 Centennial Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon at Haverford College.
Junior Nathan Udell (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) led the way for the Red Devils, placing 15th with a time of 26:04. Senior Mason Hepner (Mount Joy, Pa./Manheim Central) crossed the line 17th with a time of 26:17.
First-year Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) finished 22nd in a time of 26:26 to earn Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year honors.
Sophomores Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./JP McCaskey) and Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) clocked times of 26:47 and 26:58, respectively, while Patrick Nolan (Westport, Conn./Staples) and Matt Loalbo (Hamden, Conn./Hamden) crossed the line in 27:16 and 27:42.
Haverford captured the team title, holding off second place Johns Hopkins (34-43). Muhlenberg's Jaryd Flank ran to the individual title with a time of 24:53.
The Red Devils will travel to De Sales University on November 12th for the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships.
