(St. Louis, Mo.) – The Dickinson men's cross country made a big jump in the USTFCCCA national rankings this week, moving up to number 24 in the latest coaches' poll.

The Red Devils started the season with five straight team titles and placed fifth in a very competitive field at the Connecticut College Invitational this past weekend.

Senior Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) captured his third individual title of the season and earned Centennial Conference Runner of the Week honors after crossing the line with a time of 24:43.

Junior Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) and senior Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./JP McCaskey) had top 25 showings in Connecticut as the Red Devils finished just four points behind Tufts University.

The Red Devils are off this weekend as they prepare for the Centennial Conference Championships at Haverford College on October 27.
