Devils Edge Bullets by One Stroke for Team Title

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team celebrated senior day with a tournament title, edging Gettysburg College, 339-340, behind a career-best 81 from senior Lisi Mueller (Sterling, Va./The Peddie School).

The Red Devils captured their second straight Red Devil All-American Classic, played at the U.S. Army War College Barracks Course on Saturday.

Mueller tied for fourth in the individual standings, matching scores with first-year Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase).

Senior Caroline Gabriele (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) and junior Emily Rieder (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) carded rounds of 86.

Sophomore Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) came in with a 91 while first-year Kiara Smith (Somerset, N.J./The Pingry School) turned in a 98.

Skylar Frankiewicz led Gettysburg, earning medalist honors with a remarkable 75 on the day.

Eastern University combined for a 343 with Ursinus and McDaniel scoring 395 and 413. Muhlenberg and Franklin & Marshall had individual participants.
