Women's Golf Ends Fall With Match Play Draw

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team played to a 2-2 tie in a dual match with Franklin & Marshall College at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.

The teams split match-ups with each team capturing a pair of matches. In the top flight, Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) went all 18 holes to edge Jamila Gowdy 6-5 with the players matching scores on the other seven holes.

In the third flight Rachael Czerna (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) slipped past Maddy Markmann-Porch on the 18th green to claim a 7-6 decision after playing even on five.

F&M earned points with Megan Whittier topping Kiara Smith (Somerset, N.J./The Pingry School) in the second flight and Ember Toth claimed the fourth over Marcia Qi (Beijing City, China/JFK Catholic, Somers, N.Y.).

The Red Devils wrap up the fall schedule and will return to action in the spring.
