Women's Golf Gains Ground on Sunday

(Abbottstown, Md.) – The Dickinson women's golf team had some solid rounds, despite some unfavorable weather conditions at the McDaniel Spring Invitational on Sunday.

Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) dropped seven strokes off her opening round of 94, carding and 87 to tie for ninth in the individual standings with a 181.

Sophomore Rachael Czerna (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) carded a round of 110 on Saturday and came in at 104.

Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) was 13th overall in the individual standings with a first-round score of 92 and a 93 on Sunday for a two-day total of 185.

Gettysburg pulled in front of Stevenson after both teams tied at 344 in the team standings on Saturday. The Bullets edged the Mustangs (690-694) while Gettysburg's Hannah Fireman held on for medalist honors with a 165 (81-84).

The Red Devils travel to the Muhlenberg Invitational on Monday, April 8.
