(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's lacrosse team improve to 4-0 on the season, turning back visiting Stevens Institute of Technology, 17-10, on a bitter cold Wednesday afternoon at Biddle Field.

Senior Anne Dunster (Cos Cobb, Conn./Greenwich) netted the 100th goal of her career, scoring twice and handing out a pair of assists.

The teams traded goals to start the game before Dunster tallied her first to put the Red Devils in front for good, just over three minutes into the game. The Red Devils strung together six straight goals to take a 7-1 lead with 10 minutes to play in the first half.

The Ducks found some offense, sandwiching four goals around a free position from Laurie Travaglini (Darien, Conn./Darien) to make the score 8-5, with less than a minute to play. The Ducks capitalized from the arc, converting three free positions during the run.

Senior Maddie Parker (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) made a nice move to tally a final goal before the break to put Dickinson up, 9-5.

Stevens scored back-to-back goals to start the second half before Parker found Sam Marmo (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) to give the Red Devils a 10-7 advantage.

Emily Shanklin answered with a free position before the Red Devils regrouped and went on a 5-0 clip to take control of the contest. Chase Landis (New Canaan, Conn./Berkshire) started the run with a free position before feeding Dunster for her 100th with just over 20 minutes to play.

Dunster paid it forward with a great assist to Marmo, and Erika Bloes (Riverside, Conn./Greenwich) scored back-to-back goals to make the score 15-8.

Shanklin tacked on two more for Stevens while senior McKenzie Rambusch (Madison, N.J./Madison) closed things out with two for Dickinson, finishing assists from Alex Goles (Cockeysville, Md./Roland Park) and Travaglini.

Marmo finished with four goals on the day and pulled in a pair of draw controls. Dunster score twice on just two shots, adding a pair of assists while Landis and Parker each finished with two goals and one assist. Parker grabbed eight draws while Landis tallied two draws and two forced turnovers.

Junior Mindy Corney (Ballston Lake, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) anchored a great defensive effort with four caused turnovers and three ground balls. Greta Holt (Alexandria, Va./Episcopal) added a goal and an assist while Mack Maurer (Charlottesville, Va./St. Anne's Belfield) had three draws to go with a goal and a ground ball.

First-year goaltender Drew Yager (Towson, Md./Notre Dame Prep) made five saves in the nets for Dickinson.
