(Reading, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season, coming away with a 1-0 victory at Alvernia University on Sunday.

First-year Charlotte Glancey (Princeton, N.J./Montgomery) tallied the lone goal of the match, finishing on a rebound from a shot by junior Briona Davis (Franklin Park, N.J./Franklin) in the 49th minute.

The Red Devils held possession for the better part of the match, keeping the Golden Wolves from recording a shot.

The Red Devils produced 10 shots before the break but were unable to put a goal on the board. Alvernia goalkeeper Lily Sankey made five saves in the first half and finished with 12 on the afternoon.

The Red Devils also held a 5-1 advantage in corners.

Mary Katherine Brosnan (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Old Tappan) earned the shutout despite not facing a shot as the Red Devils move to 4-1 on the season.

They return home to face Penn State Berks at 4:30 pm on Wednesday. That match was originally scheduled to be played at Berks, but has been moved to Carlisle.
