(Carlisle, Pa.) – Dickinson senior Mary Katherine Brosnan (Old Tappan, N.Y./Northern Valley Old Tappan) and sophomore Addy Zandi (West Chester, Pa./B. Reed Henderson) were named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Association All-Mid-Atlantic Region Women's Soccer Team.
Zandi was named to the Second-team in the midfield while Brosan was a Third-team selection at goalkeeper, each making their first appearance on the All-Region squad.
Zandi made her first appearance on the All-Centennial Conference team as well, garnering First-team honors after claiming a starting role in each of the past three seasons. An injury sidelined her for the better part of her rookie year, but she returned to start 31 games in last two seasons.
Zandi tallied four goals and four assists, netting game-winning goals against Muhlenberg and Bryn Mawr. She dialed in a pair of well-struck corners to record two assists and force a key draw at McDaniel help secure a spot in the conference playoffs.
Brosnan earned First-team All-Centennial Conference honors this fall, making her second appearance, receiving honorable mention last season. She played every minute in the nets last year and, all but one half this fall to cap a strong senior season. She recorded nine shutouts and ranked third in the conference with a remarkable 0.81 goals-against-average, leading the CC in minutes played at just under 1800 for the season.
Brosnan had an .814 save percentage for the season, finishing her career with a mark of .819. She ranks third in program history with a 0.90 goals-against-average and ranks fourth with 16 career shutouts. Her nine shutouts rank her second on the program single season list while holding the number five spot in single season goals-against-average.
The Red Devils put together an unbeaten streak of seven matches to close out the regular season and advance to the conference semifinals with a thrilling win over Haverford in the first round. The Red Devils finished the season 11-4-4 overall with a 5-2-3 mark in conference play.
The Centennial Conference earned 12 spots in the All-Region roster.
