(Grantham, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's track & field team competed at the Messiah College Invitational and the Bucknell Distance Carnival on Saturday.
Sophomore Natalie Suess (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) had a great meet at Messiah, winning the 400 meters and placing fourth in the 200 and the high jump, and with the 4x100 relay.
Liana Tabtiang (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) was third in the 400, crossed the line sixth in the 200 and joined Suess on the 4x100 relay.
Amelia Lufrano (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) ran to second in the 5000 meters while Teressa Healy (Pelham, N.Y./Loyola School) came in seventh, and McKenna Spaulding (Storrs, Conn./Edwin O. Smith) placed eighth in the 800 and 10th in the 1500 meters.
The Red Devils went 7-8-9 in the 800 meter event and came across 9-10-11 in the 1500. Macallan Fox (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) had two top-10 showings and Annie Ulian (Wellesley Hills, Mass./Wellesley) placed ninth in the 800.
Wrutoe Bonwin (Lynn, Mass./KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate) was eighth in the 100 meters and joined the 4x100 relay for a fourth place finish. Cara Dougherty (Haddon Township, Pa./Haddon Township) joined the relay as well.
At Bucknell, Lucile Ionescu (Maple Glen, Pa./Upper Dublin) had a ninth place finish in the 5000 meters.
Sofia Canning (Portland, Maine/Waynflete) had a top 20 finish in the 10,000 meters.
The Red Devils travel to the Shippensburg Duals on Wednesday afternoon.
