Kisak, Zuvic Lead Devils Past Hood 3-0

(Carlisle, Pa.) - First-year Emily Kisak (Columbia, Md./Howard) recorded a match-high 12 kills to lead the Dickinson College women's volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Hood College on Thursday night.

The Red Devils came out strong, winning the first set 25-12. The Blazers answered with solid efforts in the next two games, but the Devils held them off to capture the match 25-22, 25-23.


Sophomore Avery Zuvic (Cold Spring, N.Y./Haldane) had a big night for the Devils as well, adding 10 kills and 10 digs. Junior Kaylee Britain (Wayzata, Minn./Blake) chipped in with nine kills.


First-year setter Grace Morgan (York, Pa./York Suburban) dished out a match-high 36 assists, served a pair of aces and picked-up five digs on the night.


Kisak and Zuvic combined for 10 of the Devils' 15 kills in the third set to secure the match.


The Red Devils improve to 3-9 overall. They travel to Ursinus College on Saturday for a Centennial Conference match-up with the Bears at 1:00 pm.
