Biddle is home to Dickinson football, field hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s track & field, and men’s and women’s tennis. With two synthetic turf fields, Biddle also serves as a training facility for many other varsity athletic programs. The field-hockey-specific turf surface was renovated in 2018, and the Biddle stadium turf surface designed for football and lacrosse competition in 2019. The stadium complex features a 400-meter track, bleachers and restrooms for home and visiting fans, a two-level press box, and energy-efficient lights.

Introduced in 2014, the state-of-the-art Durden Athletic Training Center elevated the Biddle complex. The Durden features pro-style locker rooms for field hockey, football, and men's and women's lacrosse, sports medicine facilities, and a varsity weight training facility.

The Hays Tennis Courts are included within the Biddle Complex. The tennis venue features eight courts for varsity competition, and also has lights for evening play.

Biddle Field was a gift from Judge E.W. Biddle as a memorial to his son, a 1903 graduate of Dickinson. It was modeled after the historic Franklin Field in Philadelphia. The first football game played on Biddle was on September 25, 1903. In 1912, Biddle Field hosted Carlisle’s celebration of Jim Thorpe when he returned home after his gold medal performance in the Stockholm Olympics. The complex is also the former home of the Washington Redskins summer training camp.
