SETTING THE STAGE
Moravian will honor its seniors before the kick-off on Saturday as the Red Devils head to Rocco Calvo Field looking to keep their sights set on a postseason bowl bid, following back-to-back victories over Franklin & Marshall and Juniata to move to 5-3 overall and 4-3 in the conference. Dickinson is currently tied for the number three spot in the standings while Moravian sits one game back at 3-5 and 3-4 on the year.
The Greyhounds scored with just over four minutes to play to take a one-point lead, 17-16, over visiting F&M and then survived a last second field goal attempt to earn the victory last weekend.
The Red Devils erupted with over 400 yards of offense while the defense recorded four sacks, two interceptions and a safety. Jordan Hollander pinned the Eagles on the 3, 4 and 7-yard line, averaging 53 yards punting.
Roberto Diez leads the running backs with 721 yards and seven touchdowns while the Greyhounds have had 13 different players catch a pass this season led by junior Nick Petros, who has 40 catches for 425 yards and three touchdowns.
SCOUTING THE RED DEVILS
Senior QB Tim Graham threw for 283 yards and five touchdowns last week, raising his season total to 1,541 yards and doubled his touchdown output to 10 on the year.
Daniel Salamone and Christopher Longo are holding strong at second and fourth in the CC in receiving, averaging over 176 yards per game, combined. Longo pulled in three TD passes while Salamone added seven receptions for 131 yards last week.
Junior linebacker Brian Snow remains the leader in the Centennial Conference in tackles, averaging 9.5 per game this season, adding three sacks. Senior Jordan Hollander had a great outing, averaging 53 yards on punts, pinning the Eagles inside the 10-yardline on all three. He is one of hte conference leaders with three interceptions, adding 45 tackles.
