(Gilbert, Ariz.) – Dickinson senior Jillian Beemon (Ann Arbor, Mich./Skyline) was selected to participate in the Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Senior All-Star Game.
Annually, the Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game features top senior players in the nation. The selected seniors are given the opportunity to represent their institution while competing against their peers. This year, the Division III Senior Game will take place in conjunction with the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
The Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division III Senior Game is currently projected for 5:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex following the completion of the NCAA Division III semifinal games.
The 60 seniors selected to participate, as well as a list of alternates, are listed below in alphabetical order. Alternates will take the spot of student-athletes who have been selected as participants but are unable to compete in the Division III Senior Game.
Beemon was a Second-team All-Region selection on defense in 2018, earning All-Centennial Conference honors for the second straight year, elevating to the First-team last season.
Beemon stepped into a starting role at the end of her rookie season and has started almost every game for the past two three years. She has been a standout defender with the ability to trigger the Red Devils in transition with strong field sense and a solid stick.
She tallied her first collegiate goal in a thrilling comeback as the Red Devils knocked off #9-ranked Ursinus College, 3-2, back on October 5. The Red Devils are currently 6-6 overall and battling for a playoff spot at 3-3 in the conference. They travel to Bryn Mawr College on Saturday for a 12:30 pm start.
