The Red Devils had a strong start, jumping out to a 7-0 lead but the Green Terror would answer and pull even at the midpoint of the half, 18-18.

The teams traded leads for the remainder of the half. The first-year class finished strong as Adam Drummond (Cork, Ireland/Taft School, Conn.) hit a three-pointer and Chris Bates (Ellicott City, Md./Boys' Latin) and Ryan Robinson (Vienna, Va./George Marshall) scored to give the Red Devils a late lead.

The Red Devils had another strong start to open the second half. McDaniel countered with a 12-2 run to pull within a field-goal at the 8:54 mark. The lead would get to as many as five throughout the remainder of the game. Jurzynski scored on a great feed from Jack Tierney (Darien, Conn./Darien) to put the Devils up three in the final minute but Aaron Washington answered with a big three-pointer on the other end.

The Red Devils had a final possession but were unable to close things out, sending the game into overtime. The battle continued into the extra-frame as the teams tied for the ninth time at the 3:05 mark. Hinckley put Dickinson in front for good with a three-point play, but McDaniel would keep coming.

Allen stretched the lead to four with a pair of free throws before Washington hit another three-pointer with 1:17 to play. Robinson responded with a huge triple of his own and Tierney added a late free throw for the final of 91-86.
