(Macungie, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team is currently fifth after the second round of the 2019 Centennial Conference Championship at the Brookside Country Club.
The tournament suffered a rain delay on Friday and the first round was completed on Saturday morning with the Red Devils sitting comfortably in second place with an opening score of 316. They slipped to fifth on Saturday with a two-day total of 651.
Swarthmore holds the top spot (307-320-627) with McDaniel moving from fourth to second after the second round with a (321-315-636). Gettysburg and Franklin & Marshall are currently third and fourth with 642 and 643.
First-year Drew Stern (Yardley, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) is tied for fifth after two rounds, turning in rounds of 79 and 78 for a 157 while sophomore Tyler Caballero (Lutherville, Md./St. Paul's School) carded back-to-back rounds of 83 for a 166.
First-year William McCann (Madison, N.J./Morristown-Beard) and sophomore Schuyler Leff (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy) both turned in scores of 167 while Stephen Bonacci (McLean, Va./Langley) is right there with a 168.
The Red Devils return to Brookside on Sunday for the final round of the tournament.
