(Hershey, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's golf team had some outstanding rounds from its first-year class, placing fourth at the 13-team Elizabethtown Invitational on Tuesday.
First-year Brandon Wilson (Perry Hall, Md./St. Paul's School) led the way, tying for third in the individual standings with a round of 73, just two strokes behind the leader. Classmate Joseph Hudak (Phoenix, Md./St. Paul's School) was right there with a round of 75 to finish seventh.
Sophomore William McCann (Madison, N.J./Morristown-Beard) added an 85 to give the Red Devils a team score of 311.
Millersville won the title with a 302 while Penn State Berks tallied a 307 and Hood College edged the Red Devils with a 310 to claim the top three spots.
The Red Devils return home to host the Dickinson Fall Invitational on September 23 at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course.
