Red Devil Golfers Show Well at Mason-Dixon Invite

(Abbottstown, Pa) – The Dickinson men's golf team finished ninth at the 18-team Mason-Dixon Invitational over the weekend. The Red Devils had a great first round shooting a 305 and added a 311 on Sunday for a 616.

The Red Devils were just one stroke back of Stevenson and three behind Gettysburg in the final standings. McDaniel won the title with a two-day total of 593.

First-year Joseph Hudak (Phoenix, Md./St. Paul's School) carded rounds of 77 and 76 to lead the Red Devils, finishing tied for 26th.

Classmate Peter Lown (Portsmouth, N.H./Portsmouth) shot back-to-back rounds of 77 while Brandon Wilson (Perry Hall, Md./St. Paul's School) came in a with a 74-82 for a 156.

Drew Stern (Yardley, Pa./St. Joseph's Prep) went 81-76 for a 157 and William McCann (Madison, N.J./Morristown-Beard) added a 160 with a 77-83.

The Red Devils travel to the Muhlenberg Invitational at the Lehigh Country Club on Monday, October 7.
