#19 Red Devils Post Third Straight Shutout

(Middletown, Conn.) - The #19-ranked Dickinson men's squash team posted its third straight shutout, blanking host Wesleyan University, 9-0, on Sunday morning. The Red Devils turned in another strong performance, sweeping seven matches in straight sets. 

Junior Abdelrahman Elsergany (Cairo, Egypt/Kent School, Conn.) and sophomore Sergio Martin (Querétaro, Mexico / Redwood, Calif.) earned the points in the first and second flights with straight set victories.

Hal Holappa (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) and sophomore Tanay Murdia (New Fatehpura Udaipur, India/Delhi Public School) added points at three and four, and first-year Henry Smith (Haverford, Pa./Avon Old Farms) had a strong finish to take the fifth flight in four sets.

Sophomore Osuman Imouro (New Haven, Conn./Trinity Pawling) moved up to the six spot and went (11-5, 11-3, 11-6) while senior Andrew Strudwick (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest Academy) won at seven. 

Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) allowed just nine points in an (11-2, 11-4, 11-3) win and Zachary Hollander (Albany, N.Y./Millbrook) captured the ninth with a four-set victory. First-year Adil Tibrawalla (Kolkata, India/La Martiniere School) won in straight sets in exhibition.

The Red Devils move to 3-4 on the season. They travel to Brown University on January 14 and will also face Tufts University.
