Bullets Slip Away With Wednesday Night Win

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's swim team suffered a 116-94 setback to visiting Gettysburg College on Wednesday night at the Clarke Aquatic Center.

Senior Kiernan Jordan (Dumfries, Va./Forest Park) won the 100-butterfly with a time of 53.44 and anchored the winning 200-free relay. He swam the third leg of the 200-medley relay for a second-place finish as well.

Junior Will Freeman (Haddonfield, N.J./Pennington School) won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.33, placed third in the 200-freestyle and joined the medley relay.

Senior Ben Shapiro (Wynnewood, Pa./Friends') captured a win in the 200-individual medley, posting a time of 2:01.19. He was second in the 100-yard breaststroke and anchored the free relay to a mark of 1:39.79.

First-year Logan Cort (Brookeville, Md./Mercersburg) claimed silver in the 1000-freestyle (10:03.15) and junior James Cummings (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) was third in the 500-free with a time of 5:17.64.

First-years Damon St. Prix (Barbados/Peddie School, N.J.) and Alex Valverde (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) joined sophomore Tyler Catania (Spotswood, N.J./St. Joseph) in the free relay.

Graham Novitch (Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale) led-off the medley relay and Liam Pauli (Delran, N.J./Delran) came away with third in the 100-yard backstroke.

The Red Devils slip to 7-4 overall and 2-3 in the Centennial Conference. They wrap up the regular season at Swarthmore College on Saturday. The first event is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
