(Gettysburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's swim team had a solid night at the Centennial Conference Championships on Friday night.
First-year Logan Cort (Brookeville, Md./Mercersburg) had a good start in the 500-freestyle, clocking a time of 4:41.31 to place sixth overall.
Will Freeman (Haddonfield, N.J./Pennington School) swam to fourth in the 200 Individual medley, posting a mark of 1:53.35. Ben Shapiro (Wynnewood, Pa./Friends' Central) had a top-10 finish, advancing to the B-final and clocking a time of 1:55.11.
Freeman swam the second leg of the 400-medley relay as the Red Devils touched the wall fifth with a time of 3:28.44. Graham Novitch (Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale) and Damon St. Prix (Barbados/Kent School, Conn.) swam the lead and anchor legs, with Kiernan Jordan (Dumfries, Va./Forest Park) in the third leg.
Cort anchored another medley relay for points in the B-final. Liam Pauli (Delran, N.J./Delran) swam the lead leg with John Crafa (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) and Tyler Catania (Spotswood, N.J./St. Joseph)
The Red Devils are currently fifth in the team standings. They return to action tomorrow with prelims starting at 10:00 am.
