Men's Swimming Earns Two Wins on Saturday

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's swim team turned in a strong performance on Saturday, posting two wins over visiting Wilkes University and Lebanon Valley College. The Red Devils turned back Wilkes 114-74 and defeated the Dutchmen 117-60.

Graham Novitch (Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale) led-off the winning 200-medley relay and added a second win in the 200-individual medley.

Will Freeman (Haddonfield, N.J./Pennington) joined the medley relay and win the 200-freestyle while Ben Shoul (Hanover, Pa./Southwestern) swam the third leg and won the 50-freestyle.

Damon St. Prix (Barbados/The Peddie School, N.J.) swam the anchor leg of the medley relay, won the 100-freestyle and placed second behind Shoul in the 50-free.

Logan Cort (Brookeville, Md./Mercersburg) won the 1000-free and had a strong swim in exhibition in the 500. Senior Tyler Catania (Spotswood, N.J./St. Joseph) was second in the 1000 and touched the wall first in the 100-yard butterfly.

First-year Sunil Surprenant (Bethesda, Md./Blake) turned in a pair of second-place finishes in the 100 and 200-freestyle.

Cameron McConagha (Broadlands, Va./Briar Woods) and John Crafa (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) joined the second-place medley relay and added seconds in the 200-individual medley and the 200-butterfly, respectively.

The Red Devils are on the road next weekend, traveling to the University of Scranton on Saturday.
