(Scranton, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's swim team had a strong outing at the University of Scranton, claiming a 119-86 decision on Saturday.
Sophomore Logan Cort (Brookeville, Md./Mercersburg) led the way, winning three events on the afternoon. He captured both distance events, the 500 and 1000-yard freestyle and anchored the winning 200-free relay.
Senior Tyler Catania (Spotswood, N.J./St. Joseph) was right there as well, placing second in both the 500 and 1000-free and swimming the third leg of the free relay.
Sophomore Damon St. Prix (Barbados/The Peddie School) touched the wall first in both the 100 and 200-yard freestyle and placed second with the 200-medley relay. Classmate Ben Shoul (Hanover, Pa./Southwestern) joined the medley relay and posted wins in the 50-freestyle and as the lead leg of the winning free relay.
Freeman also won the 200-individual medley and placed second in the 100-breaststroke while Novitch won the 100-yard backstroke. First-year Reid Schattgen (Fredericksburg, Va./Fredericksburg Academy) was second in the backstroke and earned a win with the free relay.
Sophomore Cameron McConagha (Broadlands, Va./Briar Woods) swam to second in the individual medley and third in both the 100-freestyle and 100-breaststroke.
The Red Devils improve to 3-1 on the season. They are home next Saturday, hosting Bloomsburg University at 1:00 pm.
