(Selinsgrove, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's track & field team had a late night, competing at the Susquehanna Invitational on Friday.
Senior Devin Glasson (Canton, Conn./Canton) placed second overall with the top intercollegiate throw of 13.87 meters.
Sophomore Conor Beaupre (Meridan, N.H./Kimball Union Academy) placed fourth in the triple jump, clearing 11.57 meters and had a distance of 5.62 meters for a top-20 showing in the long jump.
First-year Kacper Rzempoluch (Princeton, N.J./West Windsor Plainsboro North) and sophomore Adam Gamber (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) went one-two in the pole vault, going over the bar at heights of 4.40 and 4.25 meters, respectively.
First-year Garrett Randall (Gwynn Oak, Md./Loyola-Blakefield) just missed the cut for the finals in the 60 meter dash, crossing the line in 7.40 seconds and clocked a time of 24.63 in the 200 meters.
The Red Devils had a strong showing in the mile with juniors Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) and Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./JP McCaskey) claiming the top two spots with times of 4:22.80 and 4:24.81.
Senior Billy Dougherty (Mt. Lebanon, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) captured bronze in the 800 meters, posting a time of 1:58.57. Classmate Matt Persick (West Chester, Pa./West Chester Henderson) finished eighth in the 3000 meters (9:24.19) while first-year Oden Bules (Union Mills, Ind./South Central) was 12th (9:28.12).
The Red Devils combined for a time of 3:37.30 to place second in the 4x400 relay.
Dickinson will travel to Ursinus College for the 2018 Centennial Conference Championships on February 24th and 25th.
