(Selinsgrove, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's and women's indoor track & field teams sent a number of athletes to compete at the Susquehanna Invitational on Saturday.
Seniors Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) and Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) led the way for the men, capturing the top two spots in the 3000-meters. Herrmann crossed the line first with a time of 8:49.42 while Hopkins posted a mark of 8:57.31.
Junior Adam Gamber (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) placed second in the pole vault with a height of 4.20 meters.
Junior Ethan Burg (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) ran to 11th in the 5000-meters while sophomore Kacper Rzempoluch (Princeton, N.J./West Windsor Plainsboro North) had a pair of top-20 finishes in the 200 and 400-meters.
Sophomore Kylie Shalala (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) led the Red Devil women with a fourth-place finish in the 3000-meters, posting a time of 11:14.00.
Sophomore Natalie Suess (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) clocked a time of 1:04.92 to claim seventh in the 400-meters, while Naji Thompson (Spingfield, NJ/Oak Knol) placed 4th with a time of 27.64 and Eryn Nelson (York, Pa./Central York) was eighth in the 200 meters with a 28.73.
Senior Maura Reilly (Holland, Pa./Council Rock South) turned in a top-20 performance in the 5000-meters.
The Red Devils travel to Franklin & Marshall next weekend for the Centennial Conference Championships.
