(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's indoor track & field team finished fourth in the team standings at the 2019 Centennial Conference Championships.
Senior Eric Herrmann (Saint James, N.Y./Smithtown) ran to silver in the mile, clocking a time of 4:20.02.
Junior Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) claimed his second distance silver, placing second in the 5000 on Saturday and second in the 3000-meters on Sunday with a time of 8:40.86. Duncan Hopkins (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) crossed the line in 8:48.02 to place sixth.
First-year Aaron Brick (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) placed sixth the 200-meters, posting a time of 23.51 while Kacper Rzempoluch (Princeton, N.J./West Windsor Plainsboro North) and Christian Moran (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake) placing 10th and 11th.
First-year Ben Brandeis (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) had a strong showing, placing fourth in the 400-meters with a 51.76 and seventh in the 60-meter hurdles. Thomas Riordan (Campbell, S.C./Landrum) was ninth in the 400.
First-year Titus Clark (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) was fifth in the high jump (1.75m) and 10th in the long jump with a distance of 36.40 meters.
The Red Devils were just four points behind third-place Swarthmore (94-90). Johns Hopkins scored 186 points to win the team title with Haverford claiming second with 109.5.
