Men's XC Claims 23rd Straight Little Three Title

(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's cross country team continued to dominate the Little Three Championship, running past host Franklin & Marshall and Gettysburg on Friday night to capture a remarkable 23rd consecutive team title.

Senior Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) turned in an outstanding performance, edging Gettysburg's Samuel Sheldon to claim the individual championship with a time of 15:28.

Christopher Scharf (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) and Charles Scharf (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) posted times of 15:41 and 15:48 to place third and fourth.

First-year Ryan Heskin (Floral, N.Y./Northfield Mount Hermon) crossed the line fifth in 15:49 with Odin Bules (Union Mills, Ind./South Central) sixth at 16:03.

Teddy Mercer (Cortland, N.Y./Homer) and James Marks (West Hartford, Conn./Hall School) clocked times of 16:07 and 16:09 to place eight and ninth. Matt Loalbo (Hamden, Conn./Hamden) was 10th with Jacob Doherty-Munro (Hudson, Mass./Hudson) right there to finished 11th.

The Red Devils posted a perfect score of 15-50 against the Diplomats and turned back the Bullets 19-42. They travel to the Elizabethtown Short Course Invitational next Friday.
