Women's Golf Claims Second on Senior Day

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's golf team placed second at the Red Devil All-American Classic, hosted at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course on Saturday.

Sophomore Olivia Brown (Chevy Chase, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) led the Red Devils with a third-place finish in the individual standings, carding a round of 89.

Junior Hannah Heiring (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) made the transition from the basketball court to the course and finished fourth with a round of 91 on the day.

The Red Devils has a solid grouping to finish six-seven-eight as Himeno Yamane (Astoria, N.Y./Hunter College) turned in a 95 with Emily Rieder (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) and Rachel Czerna (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) shooting rounds of 101 and 102, respectively.

Alvernia claimed the team title with a score of 364 with the Red Devils coming in a 376. Emily Gilbert turned in an even 80 to earn medalist honors.

The Red Devils travel to the McDaniel College Spring Invitational on March 30 & 31 at the Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Pa.
