(Sparks, Md.) - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced the rosters for the 2019 Senior All-Star Game. The IWLCA sponsors this annual event to showcase the nation's top seniors.
All Three Divisions will travel to the U.S. Lacrosse Training Center in Sparks, Maryland on June 1. The Division III seniors will take the field at 11:30 am, followed by the Division I game at 1:00 pm and Division II set for a 2:30 pm opening draw.
Dickinson senior Sam Marmo (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) will represent the Red Devils, following an outstanding career, scoring over 100 goals in her career.
Marmo is a four-year starter and one of three seniors to record over 100 career goals. She started 56 of 63 games and broke into the program's top-10, recording 165 points, ranking ninth with 118 goals and 10th with 47 assists in her career.
She led the Red Devils to four straight Centennial Conference playoff appearances, advancing to the semifinals three times. She tallied 60 points to crack the top-10 in single season points in 2017 and recorded a career-high 10 points as a sophomore, scoring six goals and handing out four assists in a win over Lebanon Valley.
Marmo was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll this spring and each year has played an integral role in the planning and promotion of the women's lacrosse program's Autism Awareness Day. She has been actively engaged in numerous community service programs and is a member of the Student-Athlete-Advisory Committee on campus.
Marmo and the rest of the Division III All-Stars will take the field at 11:30 am at the U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland on Saturday.
