(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's soccer team struck early in the second half to post a 1-0 win over Haverford College on Saturday afternoon. The Red Devils came away with their eighth clean sheet of the season to move into sole possession of first place in the Centennial Conference standings.

First-year Meg Tate (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) continued her strong run of play, netting the game-winner in the 52nd minute.

The Red Devils held a significant advantage in shots, 14-3, while Haverford held the edge in corners, 6-4.

Sophomore goaltender Carli Boyer (Silver Spring, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) made a pair of saves to post her eighth shutout of season, ranking fourth in program history.

Friedrich finished with eight saves as Haverford slips to 11-2-2 overall and 5-1-2 in the conference.

Dickinson improves to 11-1-4 overall and 6-0-2 in the Centennial Conference. They are home again on Wednesday, hosting McDaniel College at 4:30 pm.
