(Gettysburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's swim team turned in some strong individual performances at the Centennial Conference Championships on Friday night.
Senior Olivia Lyman (Mount Kisco, N.Y./Horace Greeley) captured her fourth straight conference championship in the 500-freestyle with a dominant win, clocking a time of 5:01.42. She also anchored the 200-medley relay to earn points in the B-final.
Sophomore Madeline Callahan (Westtown, Pa./Minisink Valley) swam the lead leg with Hannah Griffith (Lansdale, Pa./William Penn Charter) and Audree Khalishah (Jakarta, Indonesia/Jakarta International School)
First-year Maddi Vlattas (Herndon, Va./Westfield) earned points, clocking the top time in 200-Individual medley B-final, posting a time of 2:12.74.
Senior Sammy Boswell (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) advanced to the final of the 50-freestyle and placed eighth with a time of 24.96. She anchored the 400-medley relay to a fourth-place finish with a time of 3:58.79.
Vlattas swam the breaststroke of the medley relay while senior Katie Schmidt (Plymouth, Minn./Breck School) and junior Molly Sternick (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) swam the backstroke and butterfly legs.
The Red Devils are currently fourth in the team standings. They return to action tomorrow with prelims starting at 10:00 am
