Red Devils Have Top 20 Showings at NCAA Championships

(Geneva, Ohio) – Dickinson sophomore Isabel Cardi (Media, Pa./Strath Haven) ran to 11th place and junior Sarah House (Merrimack, N.H./Merrimack) came across 19th in the 5,000-meters at the 2019 NCAA Division III Track & Field National Championships.

Cardi posted a time of 17:58.57 as she just missed the top-10 while House put up a mark of 18:39.81 to give the Red Devils a pair of top-20 performances.

Cardi ran to All-America honors at the indoor championships earlier this winter. House is the school record holder in the 5,000-meters and made her third appearance in nationals.

Annie Rodenfels of Central won the race with a remarkable performance, posting a time of 16:45 after winning the 3,000-meter steeplechase earlier today.

Dickinson junior Bryce Descavish (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) made his second appearance at nationals, coming in with a mark of 16:18.93 to finish 20th in the men's 5,000-meters.
