Dickinson College women's basketball team improved to 5-2 overall
with a 68-53 non-conference win at Elizabethtown College on Tuesday
night. |
Junior Carole Dempsey (Potomac, Md./Winston
Churchill) led all scorers with a game-high 21
points, hitting 9-of-14 shots. She dished out three assists and
made two steals on the night as well.
Senior guard Brooke Muller (Northampton,
Pa./Whitehall) hit a trio of three-pointers and went
4-for-5 from the line for 19 points. She handed out a game-best
five assists and made a pair of steals.
Junior Alesha Sisco (Effort, Pa./Blair
Academy) was just shy of a double-double with 14
points on 6-of-9 shooting, and nine rebounds.
Megan Strohman led the Blue Jays with 14 points while Kaity
Snyder scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Ali Jury tallied
10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Red Devils (5-2) return home on Thursday night to face
Albright College at 7:30 pm.
