(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson College women's swim team swept a quad-meet with Bryn Mawr, Chatham University and Juniata on Friday night. The Red Devils added three wins to improve to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial Conference. The Devils posted scores of 114-80 against Juniata, 126-69 versus Bryn Mawr and a 132-57 decision over Chatham.
Team scores were unavailable at press time. However, sophomore Carson Gannon (Morristown, N.J./Morristown Beard) captured the 100 and 200 freestyle events with times of 56.85 and 2:01.58. Classmate Natalie LeBlanc (Westport, Conn./Staples) posted three, second-place finishes on the night. She swam the lead leg of the 200 medley relay (2:00.66), and clocked times of 2:19.04 and 1:06.02 in the individual medley and the 100 backstroke, respectively.
The Devils went 1-2-3 in the 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle events. Senior Eva Kolstad (Cheshire, Conn./Hopkins School) won the 50 free (25.75) and swam the anchor leg of the 200 medley relay. First-year Alexandra Goodson (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) touched the wall second in the 50 free (25.90) and earned a win in the 100 butterfly (1:03.95).
Senior Kasia Szulborski (Shavertown, Pa./Dallas) won the 1000 freestyle (11:15.86) and placed third in the 100 free (58.89).
The Red Devils join the men to host Bloomsburg University on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
