(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's swim team turned back visiting McDaniel College, 120-85 on Saturday afternoon as the team returned to Centennial Conference competition.
First-year Olivia Lyman (Mount Kisco, N.Y./Horace Greeley) led the way, posting a triple-win with top times in the 200 (1:57.33), 1000 (10:47.46) and the 500 freestyle (5:12.63) events. Classmate Katie Schmidt (Orono, Minn./Breck School) won the 100 backstroke (1:02.96) and the free relay, adding a second place finish in the medley relay.
Senior Caitlin Klockner (Acton, Mass./Acton-Boxborough Regional) anchored the winning free relay and won the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.76. She placed second in the 200 free, posting a mark of 1:57.64.
Junior Emily Houser (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) turned in three silver medal performances, joining the medley relay and touching the wall second in the 50 freestyle (26.27) and the 100 backstroke (1:04.00).
First-year Sammy Boswell (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) earned wins in the 50 freestyle (26.18) and with the 200 free relay. She was third in the 100 freestyle, posting a mark of 57.71.
Junior Jacqulyn Teller (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) added second place showings in the 200 individual medley (2:21.38) and with the medley relay. Senior Katie Nirenberg (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) anchored the second place medley relay and placed second in the 100 butterfly, touching the wall in 1:06.33.
Sophomore Brenna Nimkoff (Weston, Conn./Weston) swam to second in both distance events, clocking times of 5:25.64 and 10:56.06 in the 500 and 1000 yard freestyle events.
The Red Devils improve to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the Centennial Conference. They are on the road next weekend, traveling to Washington College for a 2:00 pm start.
