(Bryn Mawr, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's basketball team extended its winning streak to seven straight, erupting in the second quarter, en route to a 76-44 win at Bryn Mawr College on Saturday afternoon.

Junior guard Helen Roberts (Oakton, Va./Oakton) opened the game with back-to-back three-pointers to put the Red Devils up, 6-0. Dickinson worked the ball inside to Mary Martin (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) and Kassidy Lesher (Shoemakersville, Pa./Hamburg) to build the lead to 16-6.

Erica Dwyer closed out the quarter with five straight free throws to cut the deficit to 16-11. The Devils kept the pressure on to open the second half, stretching the lead to 29, in the first four minutes. Roberts buried a pair of three-pointers with Sam Kennedy (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) and Mackenzie Skerritt (Hightstown, N.J./The Peddie School) adding triples as well.

Dwyer tried to get something started with a three of her own, but first-year Jonica Brown (Mohnton, Pa./The Hill School) immediately countered with a triple on the other end.

Dickinson led, 59-30 at the end of the third quarter. Lindsey Zwecker (Atlanta, Ga./Pace Academy) struck first in the fourth before the Owls put together a small run. Rachel Sisco (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) knocked down a three-pointer to stall the rally.

Dwyer finished with a game-high 21 points, hitting 12-of-13 free throws to lead Bryn Mawr (3-14).
