(New Haven, Conn.) – The #25-ranked Dickinson men's squash team took down the other top seed in the Conroy Cup, defending its ranking with a 9-0 win over #26-ranked Colby College on Sunday afternoon at Yale. 

Zachary Hollander (Albany, N.Y./Millbrook) opened the match with a (12-10, 11-7, 11-7) point while senior Hal Holappa (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) and sophomore Tanay Murdia (New Fatehpura Udaipur, India / Delhi Public School) claimed 3-1 wins at number two and six, respectively. 

Sophomore Osuman Imouro (New Haven, Conn./Trinity Pawling) had a strong showing in the fifth to put the Red Devils in front 4-0, (11-9, 11-3, 11-4). 

Alex Wattles (Millbrook, N.Y./Millbrook) posted a win at number two, clinching the match (11-9, 11-3, 11-9). He broke an 8-8 tie in the third set to earn the point. 

Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) added a 3-1 decision to stretch the lead to 6-0, 11-6,10-12,11-8,13-11) while Cory Litman (Lower Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) held off a late challenge from Alexander Kurtin (11-7, 11-5, 12-10). 

Junior Abdelrahman Elsergany (Cairo, Egypt/Kent School, Conn.) dropped the third set but countered 11-1 to take the top flight (11-9, 11-6, 8-11, 11-1). Andrew Strudwick (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest Academy) went 11-7, 11-7 in the first two sets, and rallied for the win after a 9-11 third, taking the match, 11-6. 

The Red Devils win their third straight match to finish the season 7-12 overall under first year Head Coach Chris Fernandez. They will next compete at the CSA Individual Championships at Brown University on March 1-3.
