(Carlisle, Pa.) – The #26-ranked Dickinson men's squash team slipped past #15 St. Lawrence University, 5-4, on Friday night.
The Saints claimed points in the top four flights, but the Red Devils had the right line up to counter with newcomer Kobe Fleming (Whitby, New Zealand) winning a thriller in the fifth flight with a strong finish (6-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-3, 11-2).
Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) outlasted James Barrow for a 3-2 victory in the sixth (11-3, 3-11, 9-11, 12-10, 11-2) while Hussien Eldesouky (Cairo, Egypt/Berkshire School, Mass.) and Ben Gemma (Barrington, R.I./Moses Brown) won in straight sets to claim the seventh and ninth flights.
MJ Tricolli (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Haverford School) ousted Logan Thomas 3-1 to earn the point in the eighth (11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 11-5).
The Red Devils improve to 2-4 on the season. The return to action on Saturday, hosting Western University (Ontario) at 10:00 am and Hamilton College at 5:00 pm.
