(Boston, Mass.) – The Dickinson men's squash team secured its #25-ranking, winning the Conroy Cup (D Division) with a 7-2 win over Hamilton College on Sunday.
The Red Devils captured the top seven flights in the championship match. Senior Abdelrahman Elsergany (Cairo, Egypt/Kent School, Conn.) earned the point in the top-flight with a straight set win (11-9, 11-6, 11-6).
Alex Wattles (Millburn, N.Y./Millburn) and Kobe Fleming (Whitby, New Zealand) survived a pair of five-set marathons to claim the points in the second and third positions.
Tanay Murdia (New Fatehpura Upaipur, India/Delhi Public School) won the fourth (11-8, 11-7, 11-5) while Osuman Imoro (New Haven, Conn./Trinity Pawling) came out on top in the fifth (11-7, 11-8, 11-8).
Graham Henderson (Greenwich, Conn./The King School) and Hussien Eldesouky (Cairo, Egypt/Berkshire School, Mass.) added straight set wins in the sixth and seventh flights, posting scores of (11-5, 11-8, 11-6) and (11-6, 12-10, 11-5), respectively.
The Red Devils finish the season 9-13 overall.
