CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's squash team began their 2022-23 home slate on Wednesday night with a visit from the United States Naval Academy. Unfortunately, for the Red and White the Midshipmen were too much on this night as they left the Kline Center Squash Center with an 8-1 win.
Inside the Match
Dickinson's lone win of the night came at the number nine spot where Cormac Sullivan downed Shankar Jambunathan by convincing scores of 11-1, 11-3, and 11-7. Two matches went the distance as
Omar Ali in the top slot traded games with Millen Randell, before falling short in the deciding fifth game 11-8. Then, at the eighth flight
Jack Corkum dug himself out of a 2-1 hole by winning the fourth game 11-3, but ultimately fell 11-1 in the fifth against Benjamin Balser.
Mark Naguib and
Kobe Fleming each won a game in the two and three spots respectively.
