Devils Take Down Fords, before Dropping Match to Diplomats at Centennial Round Robin

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Dickinson men's squash team won their second consecutive match on Saturday afternoon as the Red Devils dispatched of the Haverford College Fords by a score of 8-1, but then lost to the host Franklin and Marshall College by the reverse scoreline at the Centennial Conference Round Robin at the Mayser Squash Center.

Inside the Match
At the number three slot Mark Naguib had to go four games to defeat Aaryaman Jaising. The other seven DC wins by Omar Ali, Joe Smythe, Kobe Fleming, Patrick Noonan, Hussien Eldesouky, Sam Knipp and Jack Corkum all came by 3-0 margins. The lone Dickinson setback happened at the seventh flight where Aidan Ray was unable to hold onto a 2-0 lead against John Collins dropping the deciding fifth game 11-5.

Inside the Match
Dickinson's lone win came at the fourth flight where Fleming traded games with Teddy Eill, prior to taking the next two for the win. Ali and Naguib were each able to take a game in the first and third slots, but neither was able to secure a win.
