AMHERST, Mass. - The Dickinson men's squash team kicked off the 2024 half of their schedule with a visit to Amherst College on Friday afternoon and despite wins in three of the first four flights the Red and White came up on the short-end of a 6-3 defeat at the Davenport Squash Courts.

At the number two slot,
Omar Ali had too much for Kedar Nagaraj posting a 3-0 victory thanks to scores of 11-4, 12-10 and 11-8.
Joe Smythe in the first spot took the first two games versus Adam Lichtmacher 11-7 and 11-5, before falling in the third 11-9. However, he was able to claim a 13-11 win to seize the match. At four,
Kobe Fleming and Abhimanyu Gupta shared the first four games with the Devil grabbing a pair of 11-7 wins, while Gupta collected two victories by 11-8 margins. In the fifth game, it was Fleming who showed the needed strength and fortitude to earn an 11-5 win. Unfortunately for the Devils, no one else was able to win a game as the Mammoths claimed six 3-0 wins to take the match.
