Dragons and Diplomats Get the Better of Devils on Day Two of PA State Cup

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Dickinson men's squash team had a tough day in Philadelphia on Saturday, as they fell to both Drexel University and Franklin & Marshall by identical scores of 9-0, in the second day of the PA State Cup. 

Match One – DEVILS 0, Dragons 9

Inside the Match
The Drexel Dragons who are currently ranked No. 7 in the country, and rightly so as they took down the 28th-ranked Red Devils without dropping a set. First-year Noah George had the best chance of the Red Devils, pushing Dumitru Goian to an 11-9 first set in the second flight, but eventually falling in 28 minutes.

Inside the Match
The Red Devils scattered in some impressive performances in this afternoon slate, despite being unable to pick up a victory. First-Year Will Krizek played well above his level, competing and getting a set in the top flight, but eventually falling in four games. First-Year Menghou Du also played outstanding, almost finding a way to push the match to go the distance, but just falling short and going down in four sets.
